Boxing Classes (CO-ED)

boxing-class-lacIf you're looking to lose weight and become strong, lean and toned, boxing training fits the bill! Learn proper punch combinations, footwork, defensive movements like the slip, bob and weave.

Build strength, speed, flexibility and confidence. Positive results await you in this boxing workout, not to mention the fun that is involved in each class! 


Kids Boxing (8-11 years old) held 5:30-6:30pm on Monday/ Tuesday/ Wednesday.

Youth Boxing (12 years and up) held 6:30-7:30pm on Monday- Thursday with John Dykeman, Robert Garrison and Crew Porter. 

Youth Boxing schedule:

Monday- Boxing Technique- footwork, punch combo's, and defense with counter punching techniques

Tuesday- Conditioning for boxing

Wednesday- Light sparring , bag work, partner drills

Thursday- Strength training (weights)

Must have gloves and wraps to participate- both can be purchased at the club if needed. Can try the first class out for FREE if not a member but a parent must sign a guest waiver if you are under 18 yrs of age. 

Boxing Membership Available for $25.00 per person per month. Allows individual access to boxing classes only! 



CONGRATULATE Ernesto Enriquez on his first amateur fight. Ernesto won by first round knockout, and in valiant fashion. Keep an eye on this kid for future fights, he is one to watch. Ernesto is coached by Robert Garrison and John Dykeman here @ LAC. If you would like to begin boxing or just watch to see if you or your family would enjoy it, come by Monday /Tuesday/Wednesday night around 7pm and watch our team. Ernesto is consulted nutritionally and physically by the teamalphaathletes group (John Dykeman, Justin Nemmers, Ryan Nemmers, AJ Bennett, Chef-dale Linkous, and JamieYoung). Keep an eye out for upcoming events for all of LAC's athletes in the future!
